The expectations of fans of competitive and amateur cycling will not be disappointed during the new edition of the Grandfondo degli Squali: to welcome the participants there will always be a monumental view of the Adriatic coast, poised between the regions of Romagna and Marche, but will not miss the affectionate embrace that the nature of the hinterland can offer; the cyclists, in fact, will find themselves immersed in the suggestive Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo, which will make the race a constant discovery of one of the green lungs of central Italy.
The departure will be as usual from the Aquarium of Cattolica located in Corso Italia: from here the cyclists will follow the path most suited to their abilities. Exactly as happened in past editions, in fact, the participants can enroll in the Long Route, which counts 145 km, or the Short Route, which instead measures just 80: the first runs in the regions of Emilia Romagna and Marche and has a fairly marked difference in height of 2400 meters. The Long route ends, in the last 15 km, right on the panoramic road of Monte San Bartolo. The second route, however, is passable by everyone, much simpler and with a difference in height, equal to 1250 meters, not as important as that present in the long path. In the last 40 km all the clamamourists will meet to reach together the finish line at Gabicce Monte.
